Can anyone please suggest me which steps to do so that all of my users can retrieve the archived content from the newly migrated File Server 2012 R2 ?
The file server will be migrated over the weekend from Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2012 R2, due to the compatibility issue, I cannot and should not install the FSA agent on the File Server 2012 R2.
old environment
File Server: Windows Server 2008
SQL Server: 2005 SP4
EV Server: Version 9.0.4.CHF5 Windows Server 2003 with 17 NTFS disk for each VaultStore partition & 1x NTFS disk Index
new environment
File Server: Windows Server 2012 R2
SQL Server: 2012 SP1
EV Server: EV 10.0.4 CHF3 Windows Server 2012 R2 with 1 CIFS share for all VaultStore partition & 1x NTFS disk for Index (re-attached from the old EV 9 server)
so what's the best steps to ensure the new file server 2012 R2 can use the EV 10 to recall archived content that was archived by using EV 9 ?
