Remove Sharepoint Archiving from EV

Hi, we have a customer who has EV Exchange, FSA and Sharepoint archiving in place - they want to remove the sharepoint archiving component and restore the files

i'm aware of how to export archives, use the FSAutility for Exchange and FSA but can anyone describe the process for removing sharepoint archiving
