Hello,
I've been pulling my hair out for at least 3 weeks with this issue ! :)
So, we have an user with the following setup :
Lenovo X240, Windows 7, Outlook 2010 with Enterprise Vault 10.
Frequently (on a regular interval, 30 mn approx.) Outlook 2010 crashes ("Outlook has stopped working"). In the Windows Event Log, the faulting module is always "msvcr90.dll", and the faulting application "OUTLOOK.EXE".
We've tried the following before realizing it was the Enterprise Vault Add-In :
- Recreating Windows User Profile,
- Recreating Outlook Profile,
- Reinstalling Office 2010,
- Testing with Outlook 2007,
- Testing on another new computer with a fresh user profile.
By disabling EnterpriseVault Add-In, Outlook 2010 doesn't crash anymore, but archived Emails are not available (they partially load with a blue banner, and the attachments are not displayed).
The fact that the problem persists with a new computer is curious. Other users in my company with the same setup don't have any issue with EV or Outlook.
I don't know what to try next. It seems that EV come across a "bad" mail and crashes Outlook when trying to archive, but I am not sure...
What can I try next ? Thanks !
