Transferring Vault Store Partitions from SAN storage to NAS Storage

We are currently using Symantec EV 10 for FSA & Exchange, with Vault Store Partitions residing on DELL Equalogic SAN storage.

In order to save costs on storage and free up quality SAN storage I was considering moving  Vault Store Partitions to a "QNAP Turbo NAS TS459 PRO+" NAS Server that supports CIFS/SMB.

I have found a couple of articles to assist me (TECH35742 ; HOWTO75108 ) however I don't see this device listed in the compatibilty charts.

Can anyone advise me here please
