In the documentation I have found, there is no mention about using DAGs... but I wonder if there is a way.
The problem I have is I have 4 servers in 2 sites. Live site and DR site.
In the live sites, we have Server1 and Server2, in DR we have the same.
The DBs can all be live on either of the 2 servers in the site that is live, one of the good things about Exchange 2010. But Vault doesn't seem to want to know that.
Currently, all my DBs are on Server2 for some reason. I can't move them back as a backup is running and I get an error when trying to add server1 as there are no DBs / Mailboxes live on it.
Which is why I wonder if there is some other way to set Vault up?
Otherwise I will have to set up 4 new DBs that do not mirror or fail over to other servers, just so I can have 1 mailbox for Vault fixed in place.
What is usually done here?
