Old archives with missing mailbox structure

Hi,

it's rather cosmetic problem but I'd like to know if there is any simple way to recreate subfolders under Top of Infomation Store for archive.

I've got many archives of the previous employees, which survived lot of Vault/Exchange/AD migrations however internal structure had been lost. No items are displayed in ArchiveExplorerUI page. But after use of Search button with no parameters all the items are available. 

I was running through KB but it's related to existing users. Due to compliancy policies I cannot just recreate AD account and fake user's existance to get archive fixed. 

Any advise kindly appreciated
