Remove placeholder (shortcut) from server

Hi Everyone, I Was wondering if you could assist please? 

I started working here an they used to have an enterprise vault environment.  But the EV server no longer exists.  I noticed on the file server that many of the files have the little X on the icon and they dont open.  Is there a way i can delete these using a script, without searching for them manually?
