EV11 SMTP Archiving Holding Folder - empty folders

Hello all,

For those of you using SMTP (Journal) archiving:

The Holding folder gets the files in structure dd\hr\mm

Once an item is processed, the folder is empty. Are the empty folders removed by EV at a certain point in time?
