We have our installation our Enterprise Vault 11 set so that it inherits permissions from Exchange. This appears to be working correctly (the Automatically set permissions are checked as a result of folder synch) as shown in the image at the end of this post. A user had a number of folders in Outlook that contained vaulted items and these folders show up in the Enterprise Vault Search. If the user deletes the folder from Exchange, they also disappear from the sidebar in the Enterprise Vault Search. However, if we put checkboxes in the permissions in the "Manually set" section, then those folders show up in Vault Search sidebar. Is that the intended behavior?
