Solved - Step 2 of 5 Waiting to update shortcuts EV 10.0.4

In my circumstance anyway. 

I have for the last couple of month been stuck at Step 2 of 5 Waiting to update shortcuts.

The log files were saying Step 3 of 5

It didnt seem to matter what I did. 

1) Ran EVSRV and cleaned up as much data as possible. we had a starage failue a few years back saveset and cab issues.

2) Tried restarting the tasks didn't help

I had resigned myself to deleting the records from the database and reopening the the Archive as described in. http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/vault-902-move-archive-waiting-update-shortcuts But thought this could take a long time to clean up.

I decided to take a look through the tables and saw records related to the the move as well as a processing record in the subtask table

There were 2 things I notices..

1) The State Column of the Move Archive 'Person Name' was set to 13 "out of schedual"

2) The State Column of the Move Archive shortcut processing phase for source archive was set to 1 "Running"

This seemed odd as it seemed to say the we will keep running the task for the out of schedule item.

Well I stated poking a bit and decided to chage the value of the State column of the Move Archive shortcut processing phase for source archive to value 6 "failed". 

Well what do you know the move process kicked in and the move completed clean. 

Just thought this might help someone else if they wish to try
