I have EV11 and only doing filesystem archiving.
I'm trying to implement a configuration which will leave a safety copy of the file in the original location until the backup has complete. However it's not acting as I would expect.
I have the Vault Store set for the default behaviour to leave a safety copy in the original location until the vault store partition has been backed up or replicated. I then set the file archiving policy to create a shortcut immediately.....
I expected the vault store setting to take priority and the safety copy to be left on the file server, but the placeholder is created immediately and no safety copy is left. If I configure the file policy to create a shortcut later then no shortcut is created even after the partition has been backed up - I'm testing this with trigger files.
Can someone tell me what settings I should be using to retain a safety copy until the trigger file has been created and then to process the placeholder?
