I recently encountered this issue and I was curious if anybody else has seen this. We are running a Microsoft Exchange 2010 environment with Enterprise Vault 9. When a user attempts to highlight and delete a vaulted item directly from their inbox they get an Access is denied error asking "Do you want to delete just the shortcut?". If the same user selects the email and then uses the Outlook Enterprise Vault Add-in tab to delete the message, it works fine. Why would there be a difference?
