EV custom filters and x-headers

Hi

I want to do custom filtering in EV using x-headers.

Understand I need to use Custom MAPI Prpoerties as per https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/custom-filtering-enterprise-vault

The documentation is a bit sparse - can someone confirm this actually works before I spend time testing it in a lab?
