2 sites, Site A and Site B. Mailboxes from Site B have been moved to Site A. Using Move Archive to move archives from Site B to Site A.
Some users whose archive has not been moved yet have a need to restore an item into the mailbox. They have been provided with the links to ArchiveExplorer and Search Vault, so they have some sort of access to the archive. WebAppUrl is configured, so existing (not yet converted) shortcuts are functional.
when a user searches for an old item using the http://oldsite/enterprisevault/search.asp link, they add the result to a basket, then try to restore. They enter the exchange server and mailboxname they currently have (the Site A one). Restoring however does not work. Checking the EV-server in Site B shows the following event:
Shopping service event 3464:
User 'ME' attempted to restore an item into another user's mailbox.
This request failed because the target mailbox
'/o=Company/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=ME'
is not associated with a task. Check that this mailbox is provisioned.
Is it possible to restore items from the archive on site B, which does NOT have mailbox-archiving tasks anymore?
