EV9, New Indexing Server

Hi,

I currently have a system with 1 EV9 server running both Storage and Indexing services. I'm looking to move the Indexing to a second server, keeping the Storage service on the first server (both servers and the SQL are on 'fast' network, storage, VMs etc..).

So I've built a second EV9 server, installed the Indexing service and created a closed Index. I'm looking for some help and advice with the below:

1. Do I just open the Index on server2 and close the Index on server 1? (that simple?)
2. I understand only new archive Indexes will be created on the new area and the existing ones will continue to update, correct?
3. Once the Index work is complete I am upgrading to EV10. All of the Indexes are 'Full' and will grow when upgraded to 64-bit. As the storage for Index1 is pretty close to 95% full, how can I move a bunch of individual Indexes from Index1 to Index2 (leaver archives that are kept as reference but not actively used).
4. I plan to move the closed Index to the second server too, following http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH51450, any practical advice with this?
