I`m moving customer to O365. Problem is EV v8+ and mailboxes. Defined policy for EV mark “label” mail, that is stored in EV.
I did not try to move mailboxes to O365, but i`m preparing procedures, how to do it, but EV is giving me headache. I know that I can export data from EV to PST, which I would like to avoid.
Will or is there any rule, or task, that I can de associate mailbox from EV and all data will be returned to mailbox.
If I move mailbox in hybrid deployment direct to O365, will that move data that is in EV, or will there be only “links” that EV had created.
Current policy for EV encompasses : old data, large e-mails, and if mailbox is full. Only first 100 words stay in e.mail….

Upper article, does not describe what will happened to data. Will data be moved back to mailbox, or it will stayed in EV.
I have tested export to PST, but it create multiple 1.4 GB PST files, which is not desirable. And even if I use upload those PST to online archived, mail that is stored in EV, will probably exist in O365, which will be very confusing for user…
