Enterprise Vault 10.0.4 (1068) on Mac OS X - cant connect to Exchange server

Oui, j'ai besoin d'une solution

Tried on a few Mac clients

10.7.5 - Outlook 14.3.8 - Works fine, no issues.

10.8.5 - Outlook 14.4.1 - Says Cannot connect to exchange server, using same details as the one on 10.7.5

10.9.2 - Outlook 14.4.1 - Says Cannot connect to exchange server, using same details as the one on 10.7.5

 

tried a fully qualified domain in domain, no such luck, tried with full email in the account ID, no such luck.

The other error messages i receive, if i mess around the with acocunt id are something like this:

"Login failure: Unknown user or bad password"

However if i uses the prepopulated (correct) credentials...the same ones that work on 10.7.5, it prompts with the:

"Unable to connect to the Exchange server" check network conenctivty to the exchange server -- only on 10.8 and 10.9 clients.

 

Though, on 10.8.5 and 10.9.2 sometimes the EV toolbar will light up and act like its connected but then grey out and say log in

its syncing up the vaulted emails i put on the 10.7.5 test client on the 10.8.5 and 10.9.2 clients outlook accounts.

 

I believe the Exchange Sever is 2007 or 2010.

 

any suggestions as to what is going on with this and anything I can try to do to resolve this?

most of our users are on 10.8.5 and any new machines we get in will have 10.9.2 installed by Apple...security is pushing to get all accounts vaulted relatively soon.

PC/Wintel side are all good to go, as they have direct access to the .pst files,
