Hi people,
In my first attempt to delete more than 4 TB of the old and unused files on my file servers, I forgot to change the business retention policy from Business (Forever) into the other option which allows the Vault Store deletion (Storage Expiry) to save disk space of the vaulted files.
Re-running the EV Recall Powershell script is not a good idea since it will take some time and cause users confusion due to their deleted items re-appearing again on their home drives.
Can anyone please advise what other way to delete the items that is no longer have File place holder without recalling them or recreate the place holder on the file server and every users home directories ?
I'm using EV 9 running on Windows Server 2008 file server.
