Archived Item as an attachement behaviour.

Oui, j'ai besoin d'une solution

Hello All

I have a question about the behaviour of archived items when added as attachments.

my users are using the outlook add item or drag and drop an archived email into a new email to be sent on to a different user.

the problem is that this just sends the stub and not the whole mail is there a setting i can change to get ev to send the whole mail.

 

it's been suggested that if i give the users restore access to the archived email that this function will work but i don't want give users this access as i don't want them to be able to restore emails and then delete them while restored and we lose that email from the vault.

is there away i can set it up so the users can restore an item but still leave a copy in the vault. so that even if the unarchived item is deleted the archived copy stays ?

i've also been told that these a setting that if an email is double clicked it will temporarlly restore to the mailbox and could be forwarded then after 24 hours be reachived can any one confirm any of the above

 

(sorry i did do the mainagment training but after 3 years of these rules being ok they have now decided they want it changed)
